Shock Dance Center
SHOCK Dance Center offers basic, intermediate, advanced and competitive levels of dance training in tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, ballet, pointe, conditioning, acro and pom. We also offer a special needs dance program and are so proud of our Shock Stars. We have preschool and acro classes as well. Shock is the HOME of the JL Mann High School Dance Team and the home studio for Official Greenville Fashion Week. Our dancers have been featured in music videos, Benson Nissan Car commercials, Fashion Shows and so much more. Our staff has accumulated years of personal and professional accomplishments from studio, stage, and screen. We are excited to impact young people and share our love for dance! Dance Training
We are excited to offer a variety of dance classes including Jazz, Pom, Hip Hop, Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Contemporary, Shag, Zumba and more! We cover all ranges from beginner level to advanced and competitive levels!
Pageant Consulting
Our staff has many years of experience in the pageant industry. Lindley Mayer (owner) was the very first Palmetto Princess in the Miss South Carolina Organization and went on to become Miss South Carolina Teen 2005. She was Miss South Carolina 2016 and won overall talent and swimsuit for consecutive years in the Miss America Organization. Angela Hughes Singleton (co-director) was Miss South Carolina 1996 and also has an extensive pageant background. We offer consulting for pageant walk, wardrobe, interview, talent choreography, etc.
Private Lessons
We offer private lessons by the hour for those dancers who may work better in a one on one setting. We will offer private lessons for technique and all genres offered at Shock Dance and we will specifically meet the needs of the student.
